History

GORDON REHAB was established in 1979 dealing in made to measure rise and recline chairs.

1999 GORDON REHAB started to manufacture their own chairs.

2008 GORDON REHAB was forced into administration.

2008 CURA SEATING COMPANY LTD was established by Adam Vickers with 15 years in specialists seating and Malcolm Walker in specialist seating.
Specialising in the Care chair for neurological conditions, which has grown very quickly.

We Shortly took over GORDON REHAB and brought in our new developments.
Cura Seating which expanded very quickly over its first year.
2009 Cura Seating-US.Inc was set up to manufacture in the USA.
We are looking to set up in Europe next.

This is our flag ship chair the CURA AIR CHAIR.
The chair has gone through rigorous changes and developments to get to where we are now.

Adam identified that there are only four types of chair that will meet the needs of most conditions.
But all these chairs have evolved to give a common feature= Tilt in-space dual.

The Cura air chair is a tilt in-space dual.
The Millennium/Welwyn rise and recline chair is a tilt in-space dual.
The Attollo bariatric rise and recline chair is a tilt in-space dual.
The Elevator flat lift rise and recline chair is a tilt in-space dual.

This has seemed to be that natural evolution of specialist seating.
Our goal is to be the best in Service, Quality and Design.
